Giri Designs was founded by art curator Whitney Clegg, whose eye for art and interiors has shaped the collection for the past six years.

Whitney has always believed that art is what gives a home its personality. Drawn to pieces that feel distinctive, sophisticated and a little unexpected, she has spent years discovering emerging artists and developing a collection with a point of view.

She founded Giri Designs after recognizing a gap between mass-produced wall art and the traditional gallery world. Her vision was to create a more approachable way to discover exceptional artists and bring their work home, beautifully framed and ready to hang.

Today, Whitney works with emerging and independent artists from around the world, continually evolving the Giri Designs collection with new artists and pieces worth discovering.

Whitney works closely with each artist to curate their collection, thoughtfully selecting pieces that reflect the artist’s unique point of view while complementing the collection as a whole.

Her approach is personal and considered. She looks for work that feels distinctive, sophisticated and capable of transforming a space, whether it’s a quiet landscape, an expressive abstract or something entirely unexpected.

Giri Designs isn't an endless marketplace of thousands of artworks by hundreds of artists. Whitney personally seeks out artists whose work she believes in, building a deliberately selective roster of emerging and independent talent from around the world.
